Overview

Home Credit has always been more than a lender—it’s a financial ally to millions of Filipinos. To sustain this role in an increasingly complex financial and emotional landscape, Bootleg designed a custom Learning Lab to inspire deeper creativity and cultural empathy across their leadership team.

The 2024 Creativity & Innovation Camp was built to activate bold thinking, emotional intelligence, and customer insight—all within a deeply interactive environment.

The camp featured Bootleg’s signature mix of:

• Creative thinking frameworks

• Sociological and psychological insight tools

• Immersive fieldwork simulations

• Rapid idea generation sprints

• Mentorship and reflective sessions

A highlight of the camp was a custom-designed talk by CIA Bootleg’s Dr. JR Ilagan on The Psychology of “Pinoy” Finance—a deep dive into the emotions and mindsets Filipinos attach to money. His session unpacked how money in the Philippines is not just economic—it’s relational, emotional, and often polarizing. Understanding this was key to unlocking more human-centered financial strategies.

Our Solution

🎓 A Bootcamp for Brave Ideas

Our program focused on building not just creative skills, but a new internal culture of insight-driven experimentation.

💡 Pinoy Psychology Meets Financial Innovation

By examining local cultural mindsets, Bootleg helped Home Credit reframe innovation from simply “tech and tools” to “empathy and impact.”

🚀 Innovation with Intent

Camp participants left with not just new ideas, but prototypes and frameworks to apply immediately within their teams—aligned with Home Credit’s mission of becoming “The Financial Ally of Filipinos.”

What We Did

• Full design and facilitation of the Creativity & Innovation Camp

• Development of custom psychological and cultural content for finance professionals

• Fieldwork design and synthesis exercises

This Learning Lab was just the beginning. Home Credit’s leadership team now moves forward equipped not just with strategies—but with the mindset, confidence, and clarity to lead a new era of financial empowerment.
